Hollow Sections Mill
Jindal Steel produces hollow sections through Direct Forming Technology (DFT) at its Hollow Sections Mill, with a capacity of 0.75 MTPA. This advanced process enables high flexibility in production, allowing a wide range of sizes to be manufactured without roll change, significantly reducing setup time and improving operational efficiency.
The manufacturing process integrates forming, high-frequency welding, sizing, and straightening to ensure precise dimensional tolerance, uniformity across lengths, and consistent product quality. The system also delivers superior surface finish and supports customisation across applications.
